Still wondering about my line. I have Larkin Nix, b abt 1821. I don't think he is the one who was son of Valentine, however it is possible he is a grandson, maybe the son of Valentine's son Larkin who was born 1801.This is why I believe this. Marvin Moore of easley was son of Vinettie Nix Moore. He told me taht my gr- grandaddy Nix (Larkin) was 2nd cousin to his mother. His mother was daughter of Willis Valentine Nix>son of William D Nix Sr. Valentine Nix William (ca 1804) Larkin (ca 1801) | | Willis V. m. Mary Ann Evatt Larkin (ca 1821) m. Elizabeth Prince | | Vinettie Jasper (ca 1852) m. Beedie Dacus | | Marvin Moore Maggie All info I see on Valentine's son Larkin says he married Mary Ann Forster in 1850. If so, she was probably a 2nd or 3rd wife if he was born in 1801. Does ANYBODY have info on Larkin's previous marriage(s). I haven't found anyone with info on William, son of Valentine, but I believe that he is the William D (Darb/Darby) Nix Sr. i have listed here. can anybody help me with this? Thanks Kathy in SC
