I have been researching my husband's Nix family line for several years. Here is what I have: Jennings Nix b.1803 GA, d.2/24/1885 Blount Co, AL. He married lst Lucinda "Letty" Alexander (3 known children: Tyre, Daniel & Thomas). He married 2nd Temperance Pool Ellison, a widow, in Blount Co, AL. They had 3 children: James Harrison Nix 1857-1924 d.Blount Co John D. Kelley Nix 1860-1934 d.Blount Co Miles Jennings Nix 1863-1922 d.Ashtola, Donley Co, TX Jennings parents are believed to be Daniel and Margaret Nix.
