1998-OCT-20 SOUTHEAST MISSOURIAN CAPE GIRARDEAU MO SEDGEWICKVILLE MO --- Jane Ellen NIX, 60, of Sedgewickville died Sunday, Oct. 18, 1998, at Southeaset Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born March 4, 1938, at Commerce MO, daughter of Edwin and Anna Hale Held. she and Jerry Nix were married March 4, 1960, in Cape Giraradeau. Nix was a member of Jackson Congregation of jehovah's Witnesses. Survivors include her husband; a son, Jerry Nix of Sedgewickville; a daughter Tamnmy Nix of Sedgewickville; her mother, Anna Pyle of Cape Girardeau; and a brother, Roger Held of McClure IL. Also surviving are eight sisters, Mary Rogers, Debbie Stevens, Ruth Boes and Cathy Medford, all of Cape Girardeau, Donna Froggatt of Scott City MO, sue Dinwiddie of big Sandy TN, Phyllis Miller of Chaffee MO; Linda Matlock of McClure; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in dedath by her father, four brothers and a sister. Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson MO from 6 to 8 p.m. today. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with harold Althen officiating. burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sedgewickville.
