Looking for information on my paternal great-grandmother, Johnnie Viola Nix Smith (1867-1943), married Harvey Sylvester Webb >From around NE Alabama area - Huntsville,Gadsden, Cherokee County, Sand Mountain, etc. She was adopted or raised by a Smith family, her biological father was 'in the military' and her mother had too many other children to raise.
