Hi, One of our ancestors is Amanda Jane NIX (1826-1875) who married William Thomas LEEPER. Her father's name was John William NIX and her mother may have been Betty SPRATT. LEEPER definitely came from TN to MO, but I do not know if he married in TN or after he got to MO. If this is part of your family, be glad to share info.
