JOHN EDWARD NIX and ELIZA JANE PRITCHETT married 22 April 1885 in Kaufman Co., TX. He died 20 Feb. 1924, Hall Co., TX. She died 21 April 1960 in Phoenix, Mamricopa, AZ. They are about the same age as my Cisro Valentine Nix and his wife Cynthia R. Smith. Did they by any chance come from Ga. and/or Ala.? On the 1850 Census of Cherokee Co., Ga., I found a John Nix living near Cisro Valentine Nix and I have always felt this was his father. Any chance your Joel Ross Nix and my Cisro Valentine Nix could be brothers. And maybe their wives sisters? My Cynthia R. Smith was the daughter of Edward J. Smith (b. 1808 SC) and his wife Elizabeth.
