Bud, one thing I noticed about her information is that Madison is in Dane County, Wisconsin doesn't have a Madison County that I am aware of and we only have one Madison WI. Maybe years ago Dane County WAS Madison County! Also interesting was one grandfather was named Lapointe! When I tried to get my grandmothers birth certificate from the Baraboo area, I was told it wasn't mandatory for birth certificates in Wisconsin until after 1900, my grandmother was born in 1881. Also so many buildings were made of wood and burned down that records were lost forever. I know that the state capitol had burned when my great grandfather was working there and records were lost then too.
