Hi Jan, I am currently reviewing the records that contains the document mentioned F.4/32, 402 and the account of Jean-Baptiste Gouin. I had just last week made this summary of his account: 1811-1821 - Jean-Baptiste Gouiin 1811 - he had a Balance Fwd. 1812 - Cash was paid to his wife. 1813 - 1814 - his sundries (debits to the company) were all recorded in the English River (District) Book. His wages for that period were mentioned also. Kaby Lake, NE of Wawa, Ontario, is a place where my husband has hunted moose for the past thirty-two years, it is accessed from Wawa or Hawkes Junction on the east side of Lake Superior. It has several lodges - fishing and hunting.
