Hi Laurie, What we need is to stir interest in our culture. Recently, there has been a barrage of information added regarding Arab Americans. I am currently reading many books regarding the family history of my Native ancestors. Several generations back they were in New York and came to Michigan around the early 1850's. As I understand more about our history, I will try to stir that interest. The books are so expensive because many are out of print. If we can revive enough interest, publishers will be willing to republish many of the books. That is a big issue right now. Stirring the interest must come first. Then, many resources will become available. Just like the move from low fat diets to low carb diets. You notice a few years back everything was low fat. Today, there is a trend to low carb. That's what people want. Publishers will provide what will sell. After my research, I will try to put together a book regarding the details I have found. It would help if I could get enough exposure to create the interest in our culture. There are many genealogists who could put this information together now. Who knows how long it will take me to do my research and put everything together. I'm open to suggestions if anyone knows a genealogist who we can convince to do this work. :-) Paula (Williams) McLeod
