Our local Barnes & Noble, Borders and other Bookstores have limited Native materials on their shelves except in November. Despite the fact there are several wonderful Native Authors living in the area. They call on us for special programs in November, but the rest of the year they ignore requests for better coverage. Stating they will special order any title someone requests. I offered to draft reading lists for them to consider, but this wasn't of interest to them. I have found that they offer more Native materials online then they do in the the actual stores. Which doesn't help much. I review books for several publishers so have access to more books than some others might. When I can't obtain a particular book from a publisher, I use Addall.com for book searches and to compare prices for new and used copies of any book I am interested in. Laurie Beth Roman
