The speech will be broadcast over the Internet. A link can be found at http://www.connectlive.com/events/ncai. Hall will focus on a number of issues, including the Native Vote 2004 campaign, economic development, education, housing, health, energy, homeland security, law enforcement and trust. He will call for tribal input on national proposals like the Social Security reform sought by President Bush. A number of dignitaries are expected at today's speech including outgoing Bureau of Indian Affairs head Dave Anderson, Rep. Tom Cole (R-Oklahoma), Rep. Earl Pomeroy (D-North Dakota) and Sen. Byron Dorgan (D-North Dakota), the new vice chairman of the Senate Indian Affairs Committee.
