    3. Jim: Correction: Alice Day didn't marry James M. Clark(e) (her name was Alice Tessier). Jim and Alice are my gg grandparents. John Clark(e) (fisherman) from Canada arrived at Whitefish Point in 1872, and in 1875 started the Cranberry Farm at Vermilion and Whitefish Point and was also postmaster at Whitefish Point. John was the brother to James M. Clark(e) from Meaford, Ontario. My g uncle was William H. Clark(e) from Meaford, Ontario, he joined the U.S. Life-Saving Service Station at Vermilion and was the first postmaster at Vermilion (1896) also. William H. Clark(e) was the son of John & Priscilla Clark(e). William H. Clarke's daughter was Ethel (Clarke) Grinde. I will go through this with a fine tooth comb, and if anybody else comes up with some other answers to this..please feel free to comment. Thanks, Paul E. Petosky "James P. 3. Paul, thanks, sorry, I did not look at my notes closely enough. The TESSIER (Frank) family appears in the 1860 census at the same time as the DAY family, so the Catherines cannot be the same. Do you have a death cert. for Alice or an obit? There appears to be several Edward BOISVERTs floating around. A lot more has to be done on this family. Will get back to you when I find out more, Jim. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Paul Petosky" <paul_petosky@yahoo.com> To: <NISHNAWBE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, December 01, 2004 11:53 PM Subject: Re: [NISHNAWBE] BOISVERT update Jim: Correction: Alice Day didn't marry James M.
