I came across this site, www.ojibwe.info & it is really informative. Covers MN., WI., & Canada. Even has a book that has alot of genealogy for northern Wisc., chippewa & others. I tried e-mailing the administrator for further information but keeps bouncing back to me. Even cites sources. It took me a couple of hours getting thru all of it & the various genealogies. On 1 of my lines, carried back to abt. 1530, how they did it I don't know, but I was amazed to say the least. Also has Chippewa Half-Breeds of Lake Superior Script 1872. For the notes on the genealogy parts also tells which Fur Trade book the information was found in as well as reference number for film or book & where it is, such as Minnesota Historical Society etc. It was definately worth the time to browse around & explore it all.
