I read the web site as well. I was not pleased with the analogy but am not knowledgeable enough to say I object. I was very shocked that any of this material was published or shown publicly without proper consent. More shocking is that the person responsible held a very trusted position. The psychology part as well as early practices are out of the area of my knowledge, study and research areas. Religious knowledge is one of the areas of interest that have been most inaccessible to me like most that grew up away from the Rez. My mother seemed knowledgeable but also claimed to be Catholic - I don't know! She died when I was 11 and there was little time to share life. It would be great to hear from someone practicing traditional religious ways and their viewpoints on this issue. Larry Friend (Black Buffalo) friend@2z.net
Larry, If you want to see a little more of our culture take a look at our site www.pipekeepers.org. We are a federally recognize intertribal spirtual organization. I thought this whole deal stunk.
