    1. Silas
    2. I am having a hard time finding info for Amos Silas, and need some assistance. This is not the Amos from Pinconning, Bay County, MI. They were both born about the same time but this Amos was in Isabella County. My main problem is connecting him to his birth parents. Amos was killed in a hit and run accident in 1937, (I have the police report and death cert.). I believe his mother was Nancy Elk who died in 1910. She was married to James (Black) Elk in 1892 or (8) I don't have the paper work in front of me and Amos is listed as his step son on the 1900 census. Any help would be appreciated. Miigwetch, Kimi Jo
