Hi All I have just completed my volunteer work with the annual Times Colonist (our local newspaper) book sale. I have several copies of Peter Newman's books Company of Adventurers (ISBN 0-670-80379-0) and Caesars of the Wilderness (ISBN 0-670-80967-5) - six (6) hardcover copies of Caesars of the Wilderness and nine (9) hardcover copies of Company of Adventurers. I also have a quantity of soft cover copies of each - C of A (ISBN 0-14-006720-5) AND C of the W (ISBN 0-14-008630-7). The only cost involved is postage as I did not have to pay for the books - but remember postage in and out of Canada is expensive. Depending on where you live the postage can be from $2.00 to over $10.00 so think about the cost before you ask for a copy since I am going to ask for payment before mailing. I also picked up a copy of the local history book for Bragg Creek, Priddis, Kew and Millarville (Alberta) but it cost me $10.00 (I already have a copy in my library but thought someone might be interest! ed). There is a slight tear in the top of the spine where someone pulled at the top of it, but otherwise it is in good condition. It is a first edition in 1975, ISBN 0-919212-81-6 (cost is $10.00 plus postage). Tomorrow is our clean-up day but I don't think there are any more books that might be of interest. There are thousands of book that will be sent to recycle for the paper - seems like a shame to destroy so many books but the cost of storage and distribution is prohibitive.
