    3. I need a Christmas present --- I am searching for Marie Josephete Manitoukoue (Omagash) I thought that her name was Omagash , but I find that the reference to Omagash was to Omagash Wisconsin when it was part of Canada (1750 - 1780's) . Marie Josephete Manitoukoue (Monctoukoue) was christened in Oka Quebec in 1780 and married Zacharie Cloutier and had six children. If you are in Wisconsin and have information please let me know , any information is better than none. 1. [NISHNAWBE] Thanks and Problem
    2. Larry Friend
    3. Jan and NISHNAWBE-admin@rootsweb.com First of all! four_arrows@canada.com is being blocked from sending emails to the list. He receives them but cannot send to the list. I believe he finds this upsetting, I would and did when it happened to on a list. Then there is also the fact that Rarihokwats has been a great contributor to this list as many have. Thank you Jan ... but! Your email had been responded to earlier than mine (see second attempt below). Rarihokwats had attempted twice to send to the list, the second time he copied me directly. Apparently his emails to the list are being blocked from going through and so I am sending this also to the list. Being blocked has happened to me before also and I guess only the administrators know what happened. If anyone else has this happen, the thing to do is email the list-owner at NISHNAWBE-admin@rootsweb.com. By replacing Nishnawbe with the name of any other list you can do the same when need arises on those lists. Many thanks for the nice words but my hat goes off to Rarihokwats Larry Friend (Black Buffalo) friend@2z.net EDUCA'TION, n. [L. educatio.] The bringing up, as of a child, instruction; formation of manners. Education comprehends all that series of instruction and discipline which is intended to enlighten the understanding, correct the temper, and form the manners and habits of youth, and fit them for usefulness in their future stations. To give children a good education in manners, arts and science, is important; to give them a religious education is indispensable; and an immense responsibility rests on parents and guardians who neglect these duties. (Webster's Dictionary 1828) ============================================ Greetings, Larry. Although I am receiving Nishnawbe list with no problems that I know of, apparently I am being blocked from posting on the list -- at least the two messages I sent to you yesterday re English River I.R. 66 didn't get circulated. Just want to make sure you received my message -- could you let me know? And maybe you could ask the list owner why I am being blocked? Don't recall having been offensive in the past. Sent this out a few hours ago, but it didn't come back to me on the list, so sending it to you and directly the list. Sorry if this turns out to be a duplicate.
