Jim I have a Adelaide Sauve (no dates) daughter of Louis Joachim Sauve b. 1774 at St Michel Vaudreuil, Quebec and mother Francoise Daoust. Adelaide had a brother Louis Joachim born 1820 and sister Francoise born 1810. Francoise married Benjamin Fournier in 1833. Louis (the son) married @ 1840 Catherine Knauf, lived in Cheboygan, Michigan area. Sorry I never followed Adelaide any further and don't know if she is the correct one but seems to be @ right age because of her siblings ages and lived in right area. Louis Sauve changed spelling to Sova and had children that married into my Gouin line. Jan Gouin Paul "James P. LaLone" <jplalone@prodigy.net> wrote: Additions/corrections appreciated. Thanks, Jim. It appears Adelaide only married twice, that is all the marriages I could find and with the marriage to Francis/Frank SOBRORO she is listed as Adelaide BOISVERT so there was apparently no marriage to JENNINGS. Paul, thanks, sorry, I did not look at my notes closely enough. The TESSIER (Frank) family appears in the 1860 census at the same time as the DAY family, so the Catherines cannot be the same. Do you have a death cert. for Alice or an obit? There appears to be several Edward BOISVERTs floating around. A lot more has to be done on this family. Will get back to you when I find out more, Jim. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Paul Petosky" <paul_petosky@yahoo.com> To: <NISHNAWBE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, December 01, 2004 11:53 PM Subject: Re: [NISHNAWBE] BOISVERT update Jim: Correction: Alice Day didn't marry James M. Jim: Thanks for all your help. Yes, I have a bunch of old obituarys from newspaper clippings from the turn of the century on many of the family members. I think I have a death certificate for Jim and Alice also......I do know that I have the Certificate of Baptism on her. I think I scanned that to you. Let me do some checking. I'll get back to you in a few days and scan what I have. More information off the tombstones at the Whispering Pines cemetery at Whitefish Point. (Samuel Lewis McMullen and Anna (Clarke) were husband and wife.) (my grandparents) Anna (Clarke) McMullen was born October 10, 1876, died April 26, 1906 Their only siblings were: Ethel McMullen, born December 25, 1901, died February 23, 1903. Clinton McMullen (deceased) (my mother was), Hazel P. McMullen, born March 1, 1905, Sault Ste. Marie, MI, died May 16, 2000 in Munising, MI Hazel married Frank F. Petosky in Sault Ste. Marie, MI July 9, 1940. I was the only sibling.....born March 31, 1941, Newberry, MI You can add this information on the genealogy chart in the line of progession. Thanks, Paul "James P. LaLone" <jplalone@prodigy.net> wrote: Paul, thanks, sorry, I did not look at my notes closely enough. The TESSIER (Frank) family appears in the 1860 census at the same time as the DAY family, so the Catherines cannot be the same. Do you have a death cert. for Alice or an obit? There appears to be several Edward BOISVERTs floating around. A lot more has to be done on this family.
