Dear List Members, I am researching my ancestors in the Wasson family. John Wasson and his wife Jane (nee McConnell) came to Australia on board the ship Daphne in 1959 (departed from London). I believe they married in 1855 in Ireland. John was probably born in Co. Tyrone. I am seeking any details of their life in Ireland, their Irish families and how they came to travel to Australia.
