    3. Hello Greg I have a marriage of my gggrandparents at Mountjoy Presbyterian Church in September 1836. Edward Irvine/Irwin and Ann Lynch. Would love to know if there were any other Lynch or Irvine records from around that time. We can't seem to find any birth records for their children Ann, James, Charles and Margary (sic). Neither can we find any death records for Anne and Edward. Can you help me in any way> Thankyou, Kay Burton (Victoria, Australia) ----- Original Message ----- From: <gc-gateway@rootsweb.com> To: <NIR-TYRONE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, March 12, 2008 8:35 PM Subject: Re: [NIR-TYRONE] McCollum's of Tyrone > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Author: Killynure > Surnames: > Classification: queries > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.britisles.ireland.tyr.general/6561.2.1.1/mb.ashx > > Message Board Post: > > Jenny, > I live in Newcastle NSW Australia, my grandfather Matthew Lyons, great > grandfather John Lyons, my great great grandfather William Lyons and my > great great great grandfather Henry Lyons all attended Mountjoy > Presbyterian Church formerly Crossroads. 3. This is exciting I have never seen anyone else looking for McCOLLUM's of Tyrone. My family of McCOLLUMs came from Aughnacloy and were all married in the Presbyterian church but the 3 eldest that I have found were not baptized there. My gggrand father was Theophilus McCOLLUM married Margaret (appears to have married twice 1st wife CRAIG and 2nd BURNET but both were Margaret) c 1820 1st marriage Children we know of are John, c1821 Margaret c1828 Alexander c1837 Theophilus c1838 and Martha c1839 going by the gaps we had there would be some more older children I am guessing daughters as the 3rd son is named after his father ( although it was Alexander's second Name as well) Hoping there may be some connection with the McCOLLUMs from Mountjoy Patricia New Zealand
