I had Loans who were born in Northern Ireland, one was Thomas Loan, born abt 1850 during the famine, and emigrated to the USA around 1868. He lived in Pennsylvania. His grandfather may have been Joseph Loan, his mother was most likely from Scotland. Don't know her name though. Any information (further) would be appreciated.
