Most, perhaps all, of the children were born in Garvallagh. Francis had a first cousin, Frank McWilliams, b. 1866, one of 10 children of Francis McWilliams and Anne McVeigh of Fintona. Unknown if the cosuins' fathers were brothers, their mothers were sisters or both. Neither family had a John. My mom's paternal grandfather is John McWilliams, b. 1840 but his association with Bradleys, Blaneys and Dagneys makes it likely he came from Co.
