Yes, that is the William, he was previously married to a Jane McIlvean (22 Sept 1890 at Johnstone) and then married Catherine Hart on 16 Mar 1894 at Beith (where my Father was born) - so any information you can pass on to me, regarding my ancestors, would be very gratefully received, as I seemed to have hit a brick wall as to where in Ireland he actually originated from.
