I think her "husband to be" James Johnston moved from Ireland to Scotland (Glasgow) prior to sailing to South Africa. Once they moved to South Africa they stayed there and are all buried in Boksburg. In Catherine's birthday book there is a "J" Mac Dougall (could have been a brother) with an address given in Christchurch New Zealand. I also think her mothers name was Margaret but don't know what her fathers name was. I'm really doing a lot of guessing!!
