Author: anniecrenshaw Surnames: ROBINSON Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.britisles.ireland.tyr.general/6549.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Maggie, This general information on Tamnamore may help other researchers if not specific to the Robinsons living on a farm called "The Moy" at Tamnamore. However, one of the highways there is called the Tamnamore-Moy Road which is the address of various businesses. Could the farm have been at Tamnamore, and "The Moy" referred to the town of that name southwest of Tamnamore and was mistaken in some way in your family history for the farm name? If the Robinsons' farm was actually called "The Moy," I would think it would probably be located on the southwest side of Tamnamore, since the town of Moy was in that direction. If you don't have map references, I'll be glad to send you some.
