He was in Frederick County, Maryland U.S.A. by 1780. Francis Hagan is related to a Thomas Hagan who was born in County Tyrone, Ireland in 1643 but, according to DNA tests, Francis is from a line of one of Thomas' brothers, cousins or uncles. I know nothing about Francis Hagan's family. Anyone with information about this Irish connection please contact me. That might have some connection to my line of Hagans, Thomas Hagan, wife Hannah Marley and sons Thomas and James. There are probably other siblings but never been able to find them. James and Thomas migrated to Australia in 1838 and 1840's respectively. Which is where I come in - direct descendent of James and Sarah Any clues as to whether this might fit?
