I am in no way related to you, but I thought perhaps you might find this interesting. I have a copy of a deed, originally dated 22 May 1866. The sale was made by Chittick Verner to Edward O'Donnell and Patrick Carroll for a "lot or piece of ground" on the north side of Christian street in Philadelphia, at a distance of 460 feet west from the west side of Muller street. The property was between Gray's Ferry avenue and the Schuylkill river. None of the streets mentioned in the deed carry the same names now (other than Christian street), but I found the property on a Baist map of 1895, and one of the streets was called at the time (1895) Verner street.
