I have been to Newtonstewart in the past few months and I have seen where my grandfather George McCollum was born at Crosh House.His father was Andrew McCollum and I believe he died about 1916. I know George's sister Margaret (Maggie)married a James Kerr McCollum and lived on a farm opposite about where the hotel Mellon has been built.The house has been knocked down.I have info that this farm was called Carrigans. Do you know the names of the McCollums your Grandmother worked for. My Grandfather left Newtonstewart for Australia after he married Sarah Bartley from Bradkeel in 1912.
