My information suggests that he was the son of Robert Strutt who shows in the 1796 voters list (40 shilling leaseholders) as living in I am very interested in John Strutt. My information suggests that he was the son of Robert Strutt who shows in the 1796 voters list (40 shilling leaseholders) as living in Ramakell Townland, Aghaloo Parish, Tyrone. Robert is listed again in the 1837 Tithe allotment record. Griffiths Valuation finds only a few Strutts in Tyrone while Will documents show a John Strutt in Tyrone in 1917. I would dearly like to learn the name of Robert Strutt's wife and would be thrilled to contact Strutt family researchers.
