I would order and look at this census first and see who the non- Robinson people on the cenus are and the relationship of the people on the census before presuming that he is the one that you are looking for. You would also see the exact address on the census. I would do this before trying to find any birth records as you say it can be costly ordering them and then finding they aren't what you are looking for.
