Hi Virginia The cheapest way to obtain death certificates, if the deaths were before 1922, is from GRO in Dublin http://www.groireland.ie/ The charge, I think is 6 euros for a photocopy. The same certificate costs £12 if purchased from GRO in Belfast. that's just over twice as much because with the weak pound 1 euro is now almost equivalent to £1.
