I am looking for John (B1810) and Sarah (B1815) Carlin who are from Strabane, Tyrone, Northern Ireland. I have info that shows they sailed on the Mary Stewart in 1847. My great grandfather, Hugh, was their son and he was born in 1840. I would like to find info on them. A birth, baptism, anything at this point. I believe that Sarah's maiden name may be McGill or McGelly. I found a baptism for a catherine Carlin and it listed the parents as John and Sarah Carlin and a maiden name of McGelly. When I was in Ireland in 2002 I talked to a Willie Carlin but he had no knowledge of my family of the name McGelly and suggested it could be McGill. Any help would be great, thanks.
