Martha, age 14, her brother James, age 28, Mary, age 17 and Sara, age 25 all arrived on the ship SHELTON on June 26, 1849, embarking from Belfast. I havent found when Charles or his parents arrived but I have Charles born Mar 10, 1830 in County Tyrone and dying Mar 30,1916 Pickaway Co, Circleville, Ohio. He married Sarah Jane Trimble Nov 1,1862, she was born Aug 2, 1838 in Co Tyrone and died 1915 in Leiters Ford, Indiana. They had Martha b 9-10-1863, Lydia b 12-24-1865, Olive b 4-19-1867, Thomas M. b 9-24-1870, robert Henry b 7-3-1773 (married Sally Verne Combs) and last child Bessie born 4-13-1880, married Leo. S. Truxell. Another brother, Robert arrived later evidently born 1829 in County Tyrone, married jane Taggert on Sep 19, 1863 in Greene Co, Ohio, Jane ws born in Ireland. They had Davidson House Hotel. Janes parents were Thomas Taggert and mother wa! s Martha Kingsburn b1818, d 1884. I find that the family centered around a church evidently nicknamed Scotch Hill about 2 miles from Pomeroy near the Kildress river,if anyone knows the proper name of this church I would appreciate it. Another brother of Martha's was John Davidson of Sydney, Australia. i have Mrs Moses Mulholland as being the daughter of Dr McCartney of Port Arthur and his wifes maiden name was Wilson.
