His wife, Mary Hopkins, was born abt. 1818 in Couty Longford, died abt 1900 in Clonmee. We believe Patrick's father's name was John or Michael and was from Clonmee as well. Patrick had a son Patrick, born abt. 1850, wife Jane born abt. 1869. My great-grandmother was Brigit (Bridget) Curran born 1852, died 1939 in Solano County, Calif. Her first husband was John Hopkins, 1840-1883, 2nd husband was James Crowley, 1847-1929. She came to the US in the 1890's with her two older children, then the 2 youngest came over later. Let me know if any of this sounds familiar. They may have been related even tho the last name is spelled differently.
