    1. [NIR-TYRONE] Fw: Aughnacloy & Ballygawley Baptisms & Marriages
    2. Jim White
    3. Hi List: I understand that Ballygawley & Aughnacloy, were united, from 1789-1829, which is the time frame I am interested in. I also understand that Ballygawley records do not begin, until 1842, which is after the period I am interested in. Aughnacloy records (baptisms) begin in 1812. Looking at a map, it appears that Ballygawley is a little closer to Skey, than Aughnacloy. If that is correct, I was wondering if some of my ancestors were baptized/married in Ballygawley, rather than Aughnacloy. Since all the records I was hoping to find, did not show up at Aughnacloy, I was wondering if they were baptized/married at Ballygawley. Thus, my question is " If they were baptized/married at Ballygawley, during the period the 2 churches were united, would the record show up in the Aughnacloy records that have survived ? Or, are all baptisms/marriages at Ballygawley, prior to 1842 ,simply lost forever " ? 2. Anne Hollingshead
    3. I am looking for information about Rev Robert Alexander SIMMONS who died in Kilskeery on 15 February 1980. If I applied for a death certificate could you tell me what information I would get and if this is allowed or are only close family allowed to apply. I have a lot of research that I would like to share. Anne
