Hi Jo: Many thanks for your very informative, and very helpful, email. However, I do have several other questions. 1) Are there any other Cemeteries, within an approx 5-10 mile radius of Skey, where Presbyterian inhabitants in the 1700's might be buried ? 2) Was it common for Presb farmers to be buried on their own farms, rather than in a church cemetery ? 3) I have two 1748 Leases for the following Cobeans: Thomas, Joseph & Samuel; and John & James, all of Skey. I do not believe any of these Cobeans emigrated. Where are they buried ? There was also a James still alive for the Griffiths Valuation. The above lease also includes a son John, aged 2 years, thus born ca 1746. 4) I believe the above Thomas (or John) Cobean, may be my ggg grand father, as my gg grand father, who emigrated to Ontario, in 1823, was also a Thomas, born ca 1793, at Skey. My g grand father was a John Cobean, possibly named after his grand father (his Baptism shows up in the Aughnacloy Register on 06 Jan 1821). 5) A John Cobean, who I believe was born ca 1752 at Skey also emigrated to Ontario, with probable sons Thomas and John. Thus, I am seeking burial/death info on all John & Thomas Cobeans in all Tyrone, close to Skey. 6) Separately, I am seeking burial info on any "McCamey's", at Agahoo. Again, many, many thanks for all your help, assistance, and guidance.
