I am looking for information about Rev Robert Alexander SIMMONS who died in Kilskeery on 15 February 1980. If I applied for a death certificate could you tell me what information I would get and if this is allowed or are only close family allowed to apply. I have a lot of research that I would like to share. Anne
Hello Ann, Anyone can apply for a death certificate in Ireland There does not have to be any "family" relationship. A death certificate will tell you the following; The full name of the deceased. The date the death occurred The address at which the death took place Either the age or the date of birth of the deceased. The cause of death. The name, address and relationship to the deceased of the person reporting the death. In some cases a maiden name will also be given for a married woman or widow. best regards Robert www.ulsterancestry.com > I am looking for information about Rev Robert Alexander SIMMONS who > died in> Kilskeery on 15 February 1980.
