Ireland. He had daughters were Margaret SIMMONS and Katherine SIMMONS from his first marriage. Their mother who was a doctor (Dr Joan McAra) who died in London in 1954. They met and married in Egremont Cheshire in 1946. She died in 1954. He came back to Kilskeery and later married again. He died in 1980. He was survived by his wife June, daughters, Margaret and Kitty (Mrs Harnell) and by sons Geoffrey and Peter, also sisters, Mrs McClements, Mrs Hetherly and Mrs Quan.
