Even though this was posted almost 10 years ago, I thought I would add a comment. Many people have been looking for many years for the parents of 2 brothers, William HENDERSON and Samuel HENDERSON, who were born in the early 1780's in Ireland. Researchers have believed for a long time that they were born in County Sligo. But, no one can find out who their parents were. Someone has suggested that they might have been born in County Tyrone, instead. So, I'm starting to find out about the HENDERSON families who were in that county in the late 1700's. William and Samuel were part of a family-group, including KERR couples, who migrated to Canada in 1823-1825. They got land in Argenteuil Co., Province of Quebec. I am descended from William and Mary (KERR) HENDERSON and Patrick and Elizabeth (KERR?) KERR through their children born in Canada in 1827.
