He married martha wood in glasgow 1866. He was a resident of barnhill poor house and died in stobhill hospital 1915 of t.b. a extract from info held at the mitchell library states that after a day release he came "back worse the wear for drink". Im not sure what happened to his Father the only info i have on him is that he served in India as a solider in the bengal fusiliers.Hope this is helpful to you.
