I am not sure where in Tyrone my family originated, but cousins in Donegal tell me they did come from Tyrone, probably somewhere near the Donegal border. I know they were in Tironeil, Ballindrait in 1826 as the Tithe books lista John McCallion at Tironeil, Clonleigh Parish in 1826.Your mention of the given name of Hugh, Patrick and Jospeh make me think there may be a connection, as these names come down through the generations to this day.PLease contact me off-line to discuss this possibility.
