Robert Steele b C1844 in Raphoe, he had sisters Eliza Jane, and Margaret, - Eliza Jane married William Wray. Margaret married a Doherty. Robert married Mary Ann Moore. Robert & Mary Ann departed Glasgow May 1874 with their 2 sons. William John b Dec 1870 at Tyrone and Alexander b 1872 at Camus, Tyrone. Robert was a bootmaker and Mary Ann's father was Alexander Moore a farmer and her mother was Jane Moore (nee Patterson).
