The details, as I know them, are as follows: John Cobean: DOB: 24 Dec 1820, Co Tyrone Hannah Fleming: DOB 05 Apr 1821, Co Tyrone His parents, and siblings were as follows (there were probably others): John Cobean, father: DOB: Unknown Mary Unknown, mother: DOB: Unknown Agnes Nancy Cobean: DOB: ca 1821 Priscilla Cobean: DOB: ca 1823 I would appreciate receiving any, and all, information on the above families. I am researching an indirect line of Cobain/ Cobane/Cobean families. John COBAIN of Skey married Maria STEPHENSON of Cavankilgeen in 1821 at Aughnacloy Pres. church. John's father is believed to be James. John also had a sister Ann who married James FALLS in 1822. Associated families include FALLS, IRWIN, McCALL, MILLAR. John, Maria and their family migrated to Victoria, Australia in 1851. Several of the other families (or their children) followed. I don't see a connection to your family but it might give a clue to an area of research in Tyrone. Skey and Cavankilgreen lie about 5km south-east of Ballygawley toward Aughnacloy.
