She has memories of an old man and would like to know more. He was James Frances Carroll, Tyrone, 1848. She knows that he had at least two sisters, one Ellen, who both joined the convent. He was made to fight in the first Boar war. He came to the US, Philadelphia, PA in 1864 and worked as a stone mason his whole life.
