I recently received a copy of the information on the Broom 1842 passenger list. I did not see a son, Samuel Gardner mentioned that died? Could you tell me where I could find this information? Do you know how old he was? On the same voyage of the Broom in 1842 there is William Gardner with his family, but he's listed as son of Nancy Gardiner, Widower. Perhaps this too was a relative as he's from Fermanagh too. Do you have any information on the family in Ireland? I still have been unable to find out exactly where the Gardner family is from in Ireland. The Broom records mention Fermanagh, but Alexander's death certificate mentions Tyrone. And neither give an exact location within these counties? I would be very interested in any information on a location in Ireland or any Irish records.
