I've heard of Peter Kerr's book, but I've never had the opportunity to dig into it personally. I've found my 2xg GF Michael McGarrity in the 1901 and 1911 census, still living in the area, with youngest daughter, Margaret. Margaret came to the US in 1912, leading me to believe that Michael died in early 1912. There is a death index notation that would appear to be him. I've also found him in the Griffiths Revision Books, which recently came online on PRONI. If you have not yet looked at those, there is a wealth of information. Michael McGarrity and Sarah Hughes married before Civil Registration, so I have not yet been able to find a record of their marriage. The local RC Church register seems to stop about 1857, so there is a gap of about 7 years when I cannot trace them. We should probably ask the Admin to move this thread - it would likely be better seen and used on the specific board.
