My 3rd Great Grandmother is Bridget Collins and my 2nd Great Grandmother is Bridget Burke, her daughter, born in 1846. She moved with the Burke family to Ponca NE around 1870 where it looks like the family became reestablished. Bridget Burke married Maurice (Morris) Higgins in Ponca. The later generations of the family eventually migrated from the Sioux City area to California. I am trying to trace John Burke and Bridget Collins back into Ireland, and their counties.
