There is also a Eugene McPike listed as Baptized in 1836. Hugh is short for Eugene. I have traced the Dullaghn McPikes for a friend. Owen E. McPike 1838-1910, Married Anne McCanney B1850. One of there children Catherine McPike married a Patrick McQuaid (trying to relate back to my McQuaid's). Owen. E. also had a son Named Owen and he named his son Eugene. I am thinking that Owen E. McPike's father was a Eugene (Hugh). If so he would have been born about 1800's. And, that the Eugene McPike listed as Baptized in 1836, is Owen's brother.
