Tyrone (and close to the other McAdams in Tartaraghan Parish, Co. Armagh), that in the 1901 Irish census they are in County Cavan (also corroborated by the place of residence on the passenger record): Carrowfarnaghan, Ardul, Co. Cavan McAdam, Elizabeth, aged 46, Head, Methodist, b. Co. Tyrone, farmer, widow McAdam, Andrew, aged 21, son, railway platelayer, b. Co. Tyrone McAdam, Joseph, aged 18, son, b. Co. Tyrone McAdam, Samuel, aged 16, son, b. Co. Tyrone McAdam, Rachel, aged 13, daughter, b. Co. Tyrone McAdam, David, aged 10, son, b. Co. Leitrim The family may have moved around a bit if Robert worked for the railroad. Samuel arrived in 1905, last of Co. Cavan, bound for his brother, William, in Philadelphia. Andrew arrived in 1902, bound for his brother, William, in Philadelphia. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
