Antrim on Shankill Road (Woodvale Ward) with a Hill family. He is aged 22, birthplace not given, working as an engine driver which would fit with the railway work that the others did. By the time of the 1911 census, Simpson is living in Co. Leitrim, born Co. Tyrone, aged 34, with wife, Eliza Jane, aged 33, and children, Eliza, and Henrietta Josephine. In 1901, there is a Robert James, aged 28, living in Cloncore, Tartaraghan Parish, Co. Armagh, born in Co. Armagh, a farm labourer, living with his wife, Margaret, and children, Rachel Jane, Margaret, and William D. You would have to find the marriage record to see if you have the right one, as there is another Robert James, aged 32, in County Cavan, but born in County Cavan.
